Fitting in Fitness goes from improbable to impossible, or does it?

Well it has been quite a while and my schedule has gone from tight to tighter. As have my jeans. As I suspected I must have added a few pounds this summer.

No, we did not get flooded out, but we did have to evacuate because of the hurricane mentioned in the previous post. We were very luck, our local rive stopped 2 block down from us.

Then I spent the rest of the summer trying very hard to get ready for the school year. A neat trick as I have to home school my, “I will do nothing but play” daughter. As another parent I know put it, ‘So now you have 2 non-paying jobs and 1 paying’. So true, and yet the day is still only 24 hours long…

I you need sneakers for your kids, you might want to take advantage of this great money saving offer below:
Buy any footwear item and get 25% off your 2nd pair* at Reebok.com using code FOOTWEAR at checkout. Hurry, valid 9/16 - 9/22!
Reebok has footwear for men, women, boys and girls. I wear their sneakers out walking no less than 2 hours every day and sometimes, like most of the summer, they are the most comfy thing about some walks. Thanks to my excise coach Teddy, above to your right, my jeans still fit at least. Thanks to my Reeboks my neglected feet at least feel great!

Is it Time to Give Up on Getting around to Further Exercise, I Think Not

There was part of our first school week here at home when I had my doubts.
I simply lack the energy to face
One
More
Thing
To Do
Today
Then I realized that no matter how hard it is to get started, the immediate loss of aches and pains that I had experienced when I have used my Total Gym, even just that little bit, about 2 to 3 times a week, this past spring would make it worth it.

Those aches and pains do not in anyway help with my jobs, paid or otherwise and they have been slowly increasing since I last exercised, beyond walking, with our Teddy dog that is.

I even just left my Total Gym set up, in an effort to make it easier.
However, I still have not gotten to it,
My daughter uses it daily!

So I am not going to give up on getting around to exercising myself, any more than I would give up on my child’s education!

It could only make things easier, once I get started, again.

Now I gave you my tip about Reebok’s discount.
Anyone out there know how to get your child to be a more willing student?
Please send me your info on that in a comment to this blog.
I would be quite thankful for any signs, hints or clues as to how to do that!
